“This nigga done lost his fuckin’ mind!”

“Ant, calm down. Nothing happened. Choppa was right there.”

“Shorty, I’m not trying to hear none of that shit right now.”

I was heated when Choppa called me this morning and told me what happened last night. What made it so bad was that, Reese brought her ass in here and didn’t bother to tell me shit! That was something that should have come out her mouth the moment she walked in this motherfucker.

“Ant, calm down before you wake up Andrea!”

“Fuck all that, Reese! What if that nigga would have hurt you or my seed? You know understanding where I’m coming from right now.”

I began pacing the floor as I tried to calm myself down. Reese looked shaken up because this was the first time, I’d ever directed my anger towards her.

“Baby, I understand. Nothing happened because Choppa was there.”

“Reese, it doesn’t matter. That nigga could have hurt you. Can’t you see that his ass miserable, knowing that you moved on? As a matter, I don’t want you going out like that anymore unless I’m with you.”

“What?” She asked, looking at me strangely.

“You heard what I said. Until I know that this nigga ain’t on no dumb shit, I don’t want you out like that. You’re already a target for motherfuckers because of me. I don’t need you to be out and he pop up on you like he last night.”

“Listen Ant, I know you are trying to be protective of me, but I am not going to be confined to this house because of Cordell’s feelings. I still have to work. I’m not going to hide from him.”

I knew Reese wasn’t going to feel the idea of staying inside, but I wanted to protect her and the baby. There’s no telling what was going on in that nigga’s mind last night. He could have done anything to her. I had Choppa and Trey, two of my body guards, trailing her because I wanted her safe at all times. I was happy as fuck that they were there last night. I’m not sure I would know what to do if anything had happened to Reese or the baby.

“Reese, I know this is something that you aren’t trying to do and shit, but you carrying my seed and I don’t need shit happening to you.”

“Ant, I’m not going to be cooped up in this house all day every day. I’ve never been that type of person. You working, I’m working too. I maybe pregnant, but I’m not slouch. Now, if you are that worried about me, then put more security on me, but I’m not staying in this house!”

“Reese-,”

“No, I don’t want to hear it. I said what I said.”

Reese walked towards the bedroom and closed the door. I plopped on the couch and put my head in my hands. I had so much shit going on that I didn’t know if I was going or coming. So much shit was coming my way. Not to mention, I had just started on another album.
